Diageo Shieldhall Visit

Recently the Business Society was lucky enough to be invited to Diageo Shieldhall to be given a tour of the bottling plant as well as Q&A with HR and two current interns.

During the first week of January when most people were heading back to work or revising for exams. six students and two members of staff travelled to Lancaster to take part in Flux 2016.

PSP (Public Social Partnership) Employability for Individuals in Recovery from Substance Misuse are need of a new logo. The key element of the PSP is to increase employability opportunities for individuals in recovery, reduce the number of adults in recovery who are unemployed and to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of Glasgow City’s local people families and communities and they need a new logo that drives this home.

In order to show the highest number of pictures taken at events without making this a really picture heavy post, we made the decision to create a small video showcasing the events that the Business Society have been able to attend.

Event #1 | LinkedIn Expert Trainer

On Wednesday, the Business Society was proud to host its first event at the Paisley campus with a presentation from Miles Duncan, who is a LinkedIn Expert Trainer.

As we're all aware LinkedIn is an important networking tool and Miles was able to give tips and advice to those in attendance about how to use LinkedIn in the best way possible and make the most of the features provided by the site.
